Izabella's First Trip to Khobar - 14 March 2010

On March 14, I had to go to Khobar, actually Dhahran, for an interview at the United States Embassy branch there.  I had previously applied for a post there as Computer Management Assitant.  Not wanting to be far from my baby Izabella, I decided to take her and Cathy with me and spent a couple of days there.  We had some fun. We visited the first branch of Jolibee in downtown khobar, took Izabella to the Bahrain bridge where we spent a couple of hours at the bahrain tower overlooking the island of Bahrain. Here are some of the pictures we have taken during our short visit there:

The Birth of Izabella - 5 March 2010

Thank goodness it all happened on a Friday!!!  I had always hoped for this time to come on a weekend - when there are no cars on the freeway and the time to get to the hospital will be very short and Cathy will not suffer too much pain. At around 8:30 in the morning, Cathy's water broke and she was starting to have some intermittent pains.  We even had time to take a video and take some pictures, all smiles and happy that our little IZABELLA is finally coming into our lives. This is the day that our Izabella Kate changed both our lives!!!
